The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) has today issued a stakeholder Alert; a full copy of which can be read below.
Stakeholder Alert: Revised MRO Qualifying Criteria – Stakeholder Survey
The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) response to the ‘Future Provision of Medical Reports’, published on 5 September 2019, committed to introducing supplementary qualifying criteria for medical reporting organisations (MROs) wishing to provide medical reports to unrepresented claimants. MOJ has worked closely with MedCo to develop these criteria and are now seeking views from stakeholders on:
• new supplementary criteria;
• updates to the existing criteria;
• a revised statement of financial links; and
• whether MROs will opt-in to provide reports to unrepresented claimants.
The revised criteria only apply to MROs, but responses from all MedCo users are welcome.
To take part in the survey, please download and read the revised criteria and financial links survey from:

and then complete the online survey at:

The survey will close at midnight on Wednesday 11 March 2020. Any responses received after this date will not be included in the analysis but will be retained and read as part of the MoJ’s future review process.
