Medical Expert CPD and accreditation programme now live

MedCo has today launched its Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programme and accreditation process for medical experts alongside partners Bond Solon. The new process is now live and is intended to encourage continual development.  It will also provide MedCo the opportunity to introduce new modules where relevant and ensure the training reflects the current requirements in Medico-Legal reporting.

As previously communicated, all accredited operational experts have automatically transferred to the new CPD Programme.

Chair of the Education and Training Committee, David Bott said: “The new CPD and accreditation process reinforces MedCo’s role to enhance quality and standards when it comes to medical reporting. The Education and Training Committee have acted on the feedback received from MedCo’s medical experts and the new programme means that experts looking to renew their accreditation will be presented with choice and variety.”

To access the training material, medical experts can log in to their MedCo accounts and select the Training option that is available on the home page.   Medical experts will see their training record and all the modules that are available.

The new accreditation process coincides with the launch of MedCo’s new brand and an updated web site. You will see that MedCo has a new look and feel which is visible on both the MedCo application  and the accreditation site.
